I did the EXACT same thing. All through high-school and my early twenties I straightened my hair and wore green contact lenses.

I grew out of it though and learned to love myself for who I am.

Also, your normal face is beautiful and natural :) All those Instagram faces look the same and weird in my opinion. People are meant to age and be different and have spots and blemishes. We aren't robots.
